The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Lego Batman [facepalm]

Have seen the preview for that movie more than a few times.  While I admit laughing here and there for the trailer, it's not a movie that I will be watching.  I wonder if I would've found it amusing had I been say 16-20.

Inspector - Are you and your BAE gonna practices your Dabbing?   ;D

I watched Lego Batman and that movie wasn't for me.  It's like the movie was made for someone with ADHD or tripping on acid, everything goes so fast in the movie like 10 things going on at the same time.  My friends seemed to like it, not sure if my 11 yr old nephew liked it... I have to ask him.

Maybe a teenage kid could help, but that conversation might need a translator as well.  Either that, or Tylenol afterwards.

I get it. Not so much an insult but a line out of the movie. Thanks!

BTW, I won't be watching this movie.

I'm not into code and stuff like that, but the first one was easy to figure out.  That said, I didn't spend much time deciphering more than the subject of the OP.  Ixnay on the spending timeageay. . .

I'm not into the current lingo as well.  Don't listen to much of the popular music enough to "catch" much that stuff.   ;D

I deciphered the first couple of posts but once Flapp started with those monster posts I just gave up. Tho I am more than a little curious as to what they said about EEF so I might go back and decipher those posts just to see.

I do listen to a small amount of the current popular music. But I find that I get bored of it quickly. I go back to the stuff I enjoy most. Timeless, classic music.

If they start speaking in Klingon. . . Haha

I do listen to current pop music, but I mostly listen for the beat.  If it has a good beat, I will listen and enjoy it.  Sometimes, I don't really listen to all of the words or really "get" what they are saying.   ??? :(

I do enjoy classical, particularly when I'm reading technical writing.  Was listening to Bach earlier when reviewing technical instruction memos.  [yawn]

"Younger" Generation is relative.  I find I'm often more hip to the pop culture and what's making the tabloids than my kids -- who are grown now.

Maybe it's from being a sponge for information?  I remember so many useless things I read and hear, it's scary!

Yeah, it's definitely relative.  I am somewhat of a "tweener", or more like finding that I used to be.  Haha.

I mean I still get most of that stuff, but more of a combination of not caring much and not finding that interesting. That and social circle is mostly removed from that.  While I still have friends that are in the "younger generation", which to me is the teens to 29ish, or those that still live like they are still that age.  I have found that many of the shows and movies that I thought were super funny when I was 20-29 don't seem as entertaining as I remember them being for some reason.
