G*ddamn I hate these f*cking stupid lying politicians!

So I took advantage of my opportunity to both email and telephone "my" Senator and told her in no uncertain terms that she should vote to confirm Senator Sessions as Attorney General, especially considering the criminal clowns that she voted to confirm in both Holder and Lynch.

Here is what I just got back from her via email:

"Thank you for contacting me on the nomination of Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) to serve as Attorney General. I share your concerns about his appointment as Attorney General and voted against his nomination." [Emphasis added, obviously....]



I take this as further proof that not only do they not take constituent communications into consideration when making decisions, but they don't even read it, nor listen to you on the phone ("Uh huh. Okay. Buh bye.")

Why do I even bother?

I'd rather get an email from her clearly stating the truth: "I got your email and phone call. But you know what, I really don't give a sh*t what you want or value. I'm going to keep doing whatever it is that my Masters dictate to me. Sucka!"

I absolutely hate the responses that have been coming back. I fully agree that these politicians are self serving.

As expected, COMPLETELY ignored my email on second amendment concerns and sent the liberal-cookie-cutter-feel-good response

I got the same BS reply from Schatz and emailed him back what "shall not infringe" means and that he doesn't not support the 2a, but just feels he does.  So basically said he was full of it.  Didn't get a response yet.

but  most people are afraid to use it.

Hirono and Schatz both co-sponsored the 2013 assault weapons ban that ended up not passing.  Schatz also made anti gun statements in his campaign commercials.

As blunt and straightforward as it is, don't waste time with them. There's not enough private citizen support and government support in Hawaii to change their personal or party opinion.  Schatz even said when trump was elected that "we" (democrats) will have to work hard against the new administration (paraphrased).

I know I sound like a dick, but when you've been involved in politics for years and understand how everything connects it becomes clear.

Were in the 9th circuit, in an all democratic state, with 2 anti gun senators (senators have no term limits btw) with an anti gun police department.

The concealed carry restrictions have been upheld
Rap back hasn't been challenged and by it's design it will be upheld.

Focus on contacting representatives instead to help support Federal law.

Sorry deleted the email. But i did tell him to man up and at least admit he hates the 2a. I would respect that more.

Hawaii politicians ignore their constituents because no matter what they do or say, they know they will keep getting re-elected.

We can bitch all we want, but nothing will change.  So many people are unhappy with the current situation but don't go out and vote.  When you try to talk to people about politics here so many just don't care and don't want to hear it. If they do vote they vote all D or for the people who's name they recognize.  Once an incumbent it's nearly impossible to get them voted out if they have a D next to their name. Between the unions and local media they are bombarded with pro dumbocrat propaganda.  'Vote this way to keep your job'
