Spotting scope for puuloa

At puuloa, are steel and/or paper targets used?

Would a 20x60-80 vortex spotting scope be adequate out to 500 yards?

Do you set up your own target stands in pipes similar to kokohead?

Do you set your own steel gongs like kokohead?

My friend just got a 308

Shooting at Puuloa is nothing like shooting at Koko Head.

You will use their paper targets.

Yes a 20-60 spotting scope will be sufficient.

You can NOT set up your own targets.

No steel gongs are allowed.

.308s are allowed.

You can use your own paper targets on the rifle and pistol open shoot days.
You could use a 7x binoculars/monocular/riflescope at minimum.  15x and higher spotting scope is preferred.

Tnx Ren!  Tnx Zippz!

Is 6.5 creedmore allowed?   I plan to only shoot 5.56/223 but one of my friends may get a 6.5

Not allowed, bullets fly too far.  Any bullet that will go farther than a 30-06 is not allowed., a lot of those fast flat shooting calibers are out.  I forgot what the max distance was, like 2 or 3 miles or something.

Schofield Rod and Gun club might allow it.  I haven't shot  with them for a while so I'm not sure what their rules are now.
