What pullers are you guys using. Have about 100 rounds I need to pull harvesting the powder

I have the RCBS Collet Puller and while it works well and doesn't mar the bullet (as long as you use the correct size collet) it is not as fast as I would like it to be. With that said I watched a video with one of my favorite reloaders and he used the Hornady collet puller and it worked much smoother and quicker than the RCBS. It didn't seem to mar the bullet either. The old kinetic bullet puller works well but will take a little longer.

the thing i don't like about the kinetic puller is that it makes a mess of the powder since it isn't completely sealed at the top
powder gets all over the floor and you, also meaning you don't get to retain a bit of the powder

I don't have those issues at all unless I bang em after the herd is already dislodged.

I use the Hornady collet puller and it works great.  Sometimes milsurp ammo has a sealant which makes the head difficult to pull.  In this case you can run the rounds thru your seating die first to break the seal

Never thought of that, great idea.. I've tossed some mis seated/crimped rounds because my FA kinetic hammer is just a pain to use, especially with a crimped bullet.

I don't have those issues at all unless I bang em after the herd is already dislodged.
