I already picked up the 10/22, now that 870 is starting to look tempting.

Does SA record your name when you buy firearms, or ask you to sign additional papers? In Hawaii...does that even matter if they do? Seeing how we're fingerprinted and booked.

SA makes you sign a paper that says "I agree that I have looked over the firearm and inspected it for problems".

SA also has a camera hidden behind each of those sale signs that track and photo you and your purchases and they uplink into the NSA database and then they profile you and match it with your name and myspace and facebook account and then they decide what to sell that week at SA. I'm not crazy you gotta believe me !!!!

Just thought I'd mention, for those of you who have the sports authority cashcards with your purchase, be sure to check the redeemable dates.  You can only use it for a short three week period; mine is from 09/12/10 - 10/02/10

If I used a dead armodilla skin and three layers I could actually see what the deals would be next month and get everyone a cashcard free!

No problem.  So between the cash card and my initial purchase, I managed to get the Ruger 10/22, 1050 rounds of Remington .22lr ammunition and a hard case all for around $225.  Pretty good deal.

Yesterday was the wrong day to buy a 10/22 I guess. Spent $209, specifically asked about getting the $50 my purchase over $200. They said they're not running that this week. lol.

Wow the Savage Edge is only $279. I've been toying with the idea of picking one up at that price. Does anyone know if it uses the same barrel system as the other Savages?
