Yes this is a 22lr built on a full size remington 40x single shot action converted to a repeater. For the record, I didn't butcher a 40x rifle. I bought a 40x action from the CMP back in 2009. My other original 40x is safe and sound.

22" Benchmark mtu contour barrel threaded with seamless muzzle cap.
McMillan A3-5 stock bedded.
Badger M5 bottom metal, EFR rail, and rings.
oversized recoil lug and 20 minute rail.
CG extreme 2 stage trigger.
Schmidt and Bender PM2 4-16x50.
Horus cosine/level.
Black Ops 10 round mags (AICS pattern).
Cerakoted green and black.

That's badass!

I have been wanting a Savage 22 bolt action for a long time. Now this sets the bar really high!!!

I saw you shooting this on Saturday. Very impressive rig! I thought I saw you shooting Federal Auto Match, was these groups with that ammo? Beautiful build.

Thanks! Yeah I was shooting some of the auto match stuff along with some sk standard, sk rifle match and lapua midas+. I shot the 1st target at 50 yards with the sk and the lapua at 100 yards.
