Anyone have any experience with MGI modular lowers?

Their Hydra AK rifle seems like it would be pretty cool.  The serial numbered lower and mag well are separate pieces.  Swap out the mag well for different calibers/mags.

Anyone have one of these lowers?

I have seen those.  It is cool but the cost is crazy!  I would rather have separate guns for each purpose.

If you use AK mags the BCG is different than a AR/AK variant mag. because of the feed lips.

I guess im wondering if the two lower pieces fit together so that there is no play.
I doubt any shop here has one to fondle and it cost too much to buy blind.
