Just blowing off a little steam here.

I am not employed by the company I am contracted out to. And I have at least another 6 months to go at this project. Last night the IT people updated the firewall and router at the office I am using and they blocked all websites that fall under the category of weapons. Which means numerous websites i like to visit have been blocked including Rimfire Central. Of all the gun sites I like to visit, besides 2aHawaii, is Rimfire Central. Damn, I hate censor Nazi's.  :crazy: :crazy: :crazy:

If you have access to a VPN service, you can bypass their firewall "blacklisted sites" by routing all your traffic through the VPN.  All their firewall sees is encapsulated (encrypted) traffic from your machine.  It's the same way people at home use VPN hide their traffic from their ISP.

One of the sites that I am an admin/mod on was filtered by my work. We changed servers maybe 6 months ago and I have access again (during lunch time). 

And I'm sure you can always access via your phone.  As long as the wifi provider doesn't filter either.  I've had that happen pretty often as well.

I couldn't get onto ar15.com on wifi at the Travis Afb military passenger terminal a couple days ago.
