Isn't that some kind of anti-drift pin?  I think I saw something like that, you use it instead of the regular roll pins if you're worried about the pins walking out.  I'm not an AR-15 armorer, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night...

Its gen 2 non rotating hammer pins by KNS Precision Spikes uses them on there enhanced lowers. Did you just get the AR from Spikes?
