That's awesome!

Still would like to get out there and shoot with that group. 

There's a project to repair the backstops at Alpha and Bravo ranges.  I was involved with the planning stages, but I since handed that project off.  Not sure when construction is set to begin, but last I heard, the design was already complete.  The repair of the wall itself will be quick, but taking off and putting back on the wood frame and plywood is what will take a lot of time.  Hope it doesn't shut things down for too long.

Alpha range has some shooting positions out to 1000 yards.  It was kind of overgrown last time I was out there in summer 2016, but nothing a weedwhacker couldn't take care of.  And damn that's far!  I tried to take a pic of the view looking back at the targets, but my camera phone wouldn't pick up the targets and backstop really well.
