Regarding military university, there are a number of university/college/institutions that have mini-campuses (some basically an office with maybe a couple of classrooms) on base.  I was in training the other week and some of them have a LONG list if course offerings.  Almost like a mini community college.  I thought I recall that you have base access and have pursued education through GI bill.  Maybe you can get contacts with those groups.  I know of at least one complex that hosts at least 10 different institutions.

For those I might see if I can get contacts through the Schofield Rod and Gun Club or get a university instructor to sponsor it as part of their public administration or political science class.

More updates.

Yesterday the Young Americans for Liberty club from UH Manoa came out to the range and a bunch of us volunteered to teach them how to shoot at the silhouette range.  I was hoping for 10, but only 4 actually came out to the range.  We did a quick lesson in gun rights and had them shoot a bunch of guns which they enjoyed.  Thanks to all of the volunteers who made it happen, most of them are on here  More were supposed to come out, but I might have scared them away when I put in the prohibitions to possess disclaimer.  This at least gets me a foothold at UH Manoa and some credibility when I talk to other groups.

Next project is with the HPU Student Veterans.  I'm setting up a gun rights/military veterans seminar at Aloha Tower at the beginning of November with HRA and other groups.  It'll be open to the public.  Unfortunately I don't think the NRA President or other celebrity is coming down this year.

For December I'm planning a vintage rifle shoot for the HPU student vets, get them interested with the gun community and experience shooting some old rifles.

For March 2018, I'm hoping to get the NRA University to fly in and do the actual college seminars, then rent a conference room at the gun show to have various seminars there.

This one part of my bigger plan to get more communication, networking, and participation here.

I suggest Ben Shapiro or Milo

Another problem with bringing them here is there's no conservative groups on campus to host them like College Republicans or Young Americans for freedom or rifle teams.

Even if only 4 students came out you should still post the pictures up to facebook and your Instagram.

Good idea, targeting continuing education centers. Many do offer classes on military bases.

Let me know about the vintage rifle shoot. I might be able to convince some of my vintage rifle loving buddies to also participate. Only problem for the rest of my Krew is that you will probably have to hold it on a Sunday morning. I can be more flexible if you give me some advance notice. But I also prefer Sat or Sun Mornings, if possible.

Both quotes snipped.

Will this be in conjunction with the Puuloa vintage rifle match? I asked in a different thread but got no reply, what is the ammo requirement to shoot the match. I could bring at least one other rifle with me.

Don't tease me with a good time... As long as it's not drill weekend I am down to participate.

I'm planning for Puuloa vintage rifle day....see if people will trade setting up and pulling targets in exchange for shooting their guns.  I'm sure the more senior folks would like that.  Would be nice with a bbq at the end.

If that doesn't pan out then I could use help at khsc.

Should be an off drill weekend for you, Dec 9.   Not sure on the calibers allowed, got some new staff at the range.  I'm assuming my 30 carbine would be good to go.

Would you consider doing puuloa if the student vets setup and pulled targets for you in exchange for bullets?

No, sorry. My offer still stands if you want to do it at KHSC. You shouldn't have any problems finding enough people to help out at Puuloa. Good luck with your event and post some pics!!!

Because I can get a lot of people to contribute on Sunday at KHSC. I can get some help on Saturday. But if he has it at Puuloa, it is just me and whoever else he can bring in.

Might do a KHSC vintage rifle shoot for the students, I'll let you guys know and thanks for the generous support.

Now I'm looking for a speaker from the State house or senate that can talk about gun rights and preferably served in the military.  Sam Slom was my first choice but he has no military experience.

Maybe reach out to the air rifle teams. I don't know when their season is though.

I've decided to do the vintage rifle shoot at KHSC and I'll need help.  It's for HPU student vets, and maybe UH student vets.  Looking at Mid November to early December on a Saturday.  I'll see if the student vets can do a BBQ lunch at KHSC for whomever helps out..  I got a bunch of 30-06 HXP and 30 carbine rounds I'll donate to the cause.  Not sure what the headcount will be, I'm guessing under 10 students.

What do you need? I've got several 1903 rifles in assorted configurations, a 1917, a couple of M1 carbines. Plus, I'm an NRA TC. Happy to help!
