Wolf 223 Ammo

Finally shot all 11lbs worth. Only 1 failure to feed due to mag.
Not as bad as the rep it has.
It is dirtier, 50rds is like shooting 200rds brass.

As long as the gun functions fine, I'd shoot it.  People say the steel will cause more wear on the extractor and barrel, but you'll save way more money in the long run than what the extra wear costs.

Lol, OGC has REMINGTON brass cased for $6.20/20 on Monday Memorial Day sale when you buy by the case of 1000.  You'd rather have steel case?

I put together an upper specifically to test on cheap and underpowered steel cased ammo. Tula in particular. Now that I have had the upper for a while, I can't find cheap steel cased ammo. Last time I saw Tula in bulk, it was going for more then brass cases ammo. I think it was around $370/1000, which at that time was the same as Fed .223 Rem in the same shop. Not paying that much for Tula.

I've shot lots of 55 grain Wolf. It shoot good; buy with confidence. Your mileage may vary, but I have zero problem with Wolf.

6 bucks is for wolf 7.62x39. Not 223.
7 bucks for pmc bronze ammo at jhara.
