Doug Chin is a POS for doing that to this lady. If it was his family ,I bet there would be a different outcome.

Well if there is not enough evidence of wrong doing what are they supposed to do, file charges anyway?

Obviously there is conflicting testimony of what happened and it is difficult to say whether the security guard had a reasonable fear for his safety so this outcome seems appropriate.

It comes down to was the guard doing his job or not. If he was scratching his nose with the barrel of the gun and it killed the dog after it went off, I could see charges filed.

It must be a burden being the most "reasonable" person on the planet and having to deal with all the biased morons (below) surrounding you.

I can only hope you and your family get the benefit of someday experiencing an equally "appropriate outcome".

I am not claiming the man innocent rather I am merely commenting on the way the justice system works. Innocent until proven guilty, the burden of proof is to prove the security guard did something wrong/criminal.

I don't know whether what he did was justified so I cannot say whether he is getting away with something or not. I feel bad for the family that lost their dog and wish they had controlled it better but I am not going to sit on a high horse judging the man without knowing more about the case.
