This is the medical update on Scalise, looks very bad.  Hope he recovers.  One of the lobbyists took multiple shots to the chest and is still critical.  The others should recover.

Congressman Steve Scalise sustained a single rifle shot to the left hip. The bullet travelled across his pelvis, fracturing bones, injuring internal organs, and causing severe bleeding. He was transported in shock to MedStar Washington Hospital Center, a Level I Trauma Center.  He underwent immediate surgery, and an additional procedure to stop bleeding.  He has received multiple units of blood transfusion. His condition is critical, and he will require additional operations.  We will provide periodic updates.

The Congressional Charity Baseball Game was played as scheduled tonight. The Democrats won, so Trump is asking the FBI to investigate possible rigging of the game.   

Just kidding!  The Dems won, but the real winners are the charities.  More than double the tickets than normal were sold.

Fox News has confirmed that the gunman who opened fire on Republican congressmen at an Alexandria, Va., baseball field
on Wednesday had a list of GOP lawmakers' names in his pocket at the time of the shooting.

The list, discovered by the FBI, was found in a van belonging to suspect James Hodgkinson.

House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) and several others were injured in the shooting before Capitol Police fatally
shot Hodgkinson.

Rep. Peter King (R-NY) said on "The Story" that this is a sign that our political rhetoric has gotten far too extreme, and
that it can "set off psychopaths" like Hodgkinson.

He had "names in his pocket at the time of the shooting", and "The list, discovered by the FBI, was found in a van".

Either he's got some damn big pockets that can fit a van, or the FBI is showing how they are just as screwed up as we've been seeing the past 2 years!
