Boxing rules.  I don't think Conor has a chance under those conditions.

It's his way of "giving back".  He's generous to a fault (one of many).    :worship:

Was talking about this the other week with a good buddy, who's also slightly more than an "mma fighter at heart". I am a fan of both mma and boxing. I can't stand watching Mayweather fight. Yeah, he's a skilled boxer, but does to avoid damage and score point. Yes, that's boxing, but not a style that I enjoy watching.

As for matchup, I will NEVER bet on any event that Dana White and Zuffa is involved in. I would say first impression is that Mayweather would make a fool out of MacGregor. But I also smell something fishy here.

They did mention something about agreeing to boxing glove weight. Any idea on that agreement?

I am wagering Mayweather will win, make another 9 figure paycheck and retire until another 9 figure opportunity comes up.

Mayweather can hit. Out of his 49-0 record, 26 were by knockout.  He is also the most accurate puncher with the best +/- punch record since they started using that computer thingy to count punches.  You gotta give him credit.  He knows how to play the game, both boxing and making money.

I wonder if mcgreggor actually thinks he can win? If he even gets a good shot in I would be surprised. Either way, most people would fight either one of those guys bare knuckle with their hands tied behind their backs for that kind of $.

It will be a boring fight, Floyd is just going to dance around and score points. When is the last time he got a  KO?

It was Sep 2011.  A 4th Rd KO od Victor Ortiz for the WBC welterweight title.  Many say he no longer has KO power and relays solely on his boxing skills.  On the other hand CG has tremendous hitting power and can KO Mayweather IF he can hit him.  Pacman also had great hand speed and power but couldn't get a solid hit on Mayweather in their fight.  It will be interesting but I am too cheap to even pay a dollar to watch it.  I can wait to watch it for free after video of it appears on the web a day or two later..
