The HDF has secured an additional  range day in July for all to come and shoot in our open format from 8am to 12pm on JULY 9TH.We will be shooting in action bay 2 ( the big one) for your pleasure. HDF members receive special admission. Everyone is welcome no membership required or no rsvp required.  So if you wondered what it's like to shoot on the action bay side of kokohead range is like come join us. See you there

aloha all, rangemaster muramoto has kindly given us an extra range date on sunday, july 9. we will be having a 4 hour open shoot (8-12) in action bay 2 (the big one). for this special occasion, we are reducing the normal range fee to $5 for members and $10 for non-members (show up at 7:30am to help set up, and you will receive $5 off). i know it's kinda short notice, but we would like as many people as possible to show up. target arrays will be set up for pistol, rifle and shotgun. see you there!

Someone should correct the Facebook page.  It says $10 members, $5 nonmembers.

please come early to help set up- range will not go hot until tents and targets are up

i have never attend a HDF range day (despite being a member for a couple years), what calibers are allowed? .308 or .3006 okay or only pistol/intermediate calibers for rifles? Drawing and firing from holster for pistols okay?

.308 is okay we are in the action bay so distance is short. As for drawing from holster is yes in a safe manner and depending on holster type. Ie. Iwb are not allowed and serpa is discouraged.
