What, you kill a giant with it or something?

Watch out if he picks up 5 shiny rocks. One each for Goliath and his 4 brothers.
I think, therefore I am armed.

Cant we use the power of love and unity like Obama thinks?
Only if you are as disconnected from reality as he is.

Sure, bring up that one.  Everyone wants to draw comparisons against the greatest sling story in recorded history.  It's not like any story I could possibly tell would sound impressive now.
The difference between theory and reality is that, in theory, there is no difference between theory and reality.

Now thats hunting.

I hope you mounted it on the wall.  :geekdanc:

Ok if anyone ever runs out of ammo or reloading supplies

Bow and Arrows/?
Crossbows ?
Slingshots  any others?

What are the current laws on these right now anyways to obtain them before total social collapse?

Me personally would like to get the PSE TAC 15 crossbow upper  that can add on the ar15 lower reciever

Got into bows a while back because of lack of hunting areas (gun shooting)... spent some good dollars and learned a bit about the sport. Practiced and liked it, but fell out due to lack of personal time....

Still have the full bow set up and equipement...great prep to me.... garrans a few pratice runs and i can put an arrow up a deers ass at 20 yds. two shakes....

Wait so.. for what purpose?  For hunting or defense?  Or both?

An alternative for hunting with a firearm could be trapping.  I actually want to learn more about trapping pig.

Or like the dude in a recent doomsday preppers episode, stick throwing!  O_o

For self-defense, well this thread could go on forever..

For more close quarter combat, I like the idea of a cane/walking stick.  With the right stick and training, that would be a great lethal or non-lethal option.
