Looks like self defense.
Guy on the mower draws handgun first and looks like he's waving it around
But I'm not a lawyer

Just spoke with a liberal about this, and that's exactly what he said

Yeah, what they WON'T be saying, as they always conveniently "forget" to mention, is that during the same time period of that one "bad" gun use, there were at least three people who were not raped, beaten, robbed or murdered by using firearms for self-defense. But, according to their "logic", it is better to have three people raped/beaten/robbed/murdered than have one person injured by a nut case person using a firearm illegally and/or recklessly. And they mean it. As if passing all their confiscatory laws would eliminate criminals using firearms while engaging in criminal activity. You know, like at Bataclan.

Initially, I only read the article.  You really need to watch the video, both for the incident and commentary of what happened.  The Weigle guy was hit four times in the chest, was able to return fire and got up and walked away!

What happened, happened and I see it as a case of self-defense.  However, I also wonder about the firearm and ammo that Keller used.  More from a perspective of data on defensive shootings and gun/ammo performance perspective.

And the whole liberal thing?   :grrr:  Those guys have a history of violent encounters.  Keller (or both) likely had reason to feel the need to carry a firearm to defend himself and it turns out that it was needed.  I can hear them saying now "well, he was only waving his gun around in the air and wasn't going to hurt anyone".  Put said liberal in said situation and see how their tune changes.

I was wondering about the gun that shot him too.
4 shots and he got up and walked away.
I wonder if it was a .380?  ;)

Haven't followed the story very much, but last I heard the guy was in critical condition days after the incident.  From that, my WAG is that either it was a 22 or some centerfire with FMJ ammo (or HP ammo that didn't expand).  Well, I also suppose that the reports of hit to the chest could have been inaccurate.

Or yea, a .380.   ;D
