The way the posters are acting, it is like a smear campaign..

The posters are posting their own DIRECT experiences with these people with everyday type interactions.

they were super nice and super cool to everyone

Do you expect them to behave like asses when they are out for a "service project?"

I judge by a course of actions, not reports from one day if accurate.

Wow!  So we are simply making up stories to smear these "good people" according to you?

Duane and Beth Chapmans disrespect for Hawaii and the people in Hawaii are well documented.

This is not an isolated incident.

There have been numerous incidents (all documented) where the Chapman family has harassed, assaulted, bullied, and broken numerous laws to "re-catch" someone that they bailed out.

They purposely bail out flight risks in order to pad their pockets with the revenue generated from their tv show.

They've kicked open doors to the wrong house on more than one occasion.

Your number one Option for Personal Security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

I don't know anything about the Chapmans, but I'll say that I don't believe the story about the Army hike, simply because I don't believe that Beth 1) works out, and 2) that there's any market for a workout video starring her.

1) I don't believe Richard Simmons works out, and he makes plenty videos
2) Lack of a market does not necessarily preclude a producers betting that there is one.  Personally I can't believe there is an audience for anything DTBH related, yet there it is. My guess is the mystifying success of the DTBH franchise has made all involved delusional.

I remember an Army bulletin that said not to use Simple Green on M4s, M16s.

From Simple Green FAQS:

Aluminum - Is it safe to use Simple Green® on aluminum?
When used with caution and according to the instructions, Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner has been safely and successfully used to clean aluminum. Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner, Crystal Simple Green® Cleaner/Degreaser, Simple Green Pressure Washer Concentrates, and Pro Series™ Simple Green® Automotive Cleaner have been used on aircraft, automotive, industrial and consumer aluminum items for over 20 years. However, caution and common sense must be used: aluminum is a soft metal that easily corrodes with unprotected exposure to water. The aqueous-base and alkalinity of Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner can accelerate the corrosion process. Therefore, contact times for unprotected or unpainted aluminum surfaces should be kept as brief as the job will allow - never for more than 10 minutes. Large cleaning jobs should be conducted in smaller-area stages to achieve lower contact time. Rinsing after cleaning should always be extremely thorough - paying special attention to flush out cracks and crevices to remove all Simple Green® product residues. Unfinished, uncoated or unpainted aluminum cleaned with Simple Green products should receive some sort of protectant after cleaning to prevent oxidation.
Simple Green has also developed break-through water based cleaners that are safe for use on metals, plastics, rubber and high tech alloys. Extreme Simple Green® Aircraft & Precision Cleaner and Simple Green® Pro HD are available on both the industrial and retail markets, respectively. These products were initially developed for the aircraft industry and extensive testing shows that they are safe and effective on a variety of metals and other sensitive surfaces even in the most extreme circumstances.

Beth Chapman has started a new production.company called Auntie Productions which is producing her exercise video. She is tweeting her fans via her Auntie Productions twitter telling them to contact the Hawaii film office and tell them they support her. She's also tweeting asking why the military is using public tax payer trails for P.T. when they have million dollar facilities on base.

Wow. That's a cunt thing to say. It's not "the military" using kokohead for PT, it's individual human beings who are far away from home who want to peacefully enjoy the island, going out for a hike. Her question makes like the entire company assembled at kokohead and ran drills there the whole day.

Wow she needs to be humbled really badly.

I agree with you. I wonder if The Honolulu Film Office will cave under the calls and emails from her Dog Pound fans or if they will hold her accountable?

dumb gossip item posted by "friends and cousins"

The military is not interested in following up or commenting on the matter and informed
their people not to either.  I met the family when they visited the base my dad was on
and they were super nice and super cool to everyone. It was not for the show or
fame, it was to spend time with the kids whose family members were being
shipped out. I don't like the show but to say that they don't respect the military
is nonsense. Dog''s dad was a navy man and Beth's oldest son is in
the army.

Maybe you should check Twitter and if this story checks out, you can "judge her by the course of her action, or course of her tweets"

Production is expensive. Interruptions like that make it even more expensive. I get it. I do production for a living. Film permits in Hawaii are outrageously costly, as well.

But NOTHING justifies that kind of bad behavior. Wouldn't matter if they were soldiers or civilians. And a film permit just gives you permission to film - it doesn't give you exclusive ownership of the place where you are filming.

Politeness goes a lot further. But expecting the Chapmans to understand that would be an exercise in futility. They obviously have learned nothing living here.
