I actually used the Luger at a IPSC match 20 years ago and took 3rd and 5th in Iron Sight Class.
It was so stable at double taps.  Plus I mastered the mag changes!  You never know till you try!

Remington 597.  Everyone loves the 10/22 so much, this gun is overlooked.  It's a tack driver... I have so much fun at the silhouette range.

Raven 25.  Cute, cheap, accurate, not meant to fire 5000 rd, resides in the comfy cushy couch cushions.

Not a daily carry, but was one of the four guns I carried just for the hell of it the day I first got my carry permit.  Rides in my bathrobe pocket often when I take out the trash.

Hehehe... It is a good gun.  I've done side by side shoots with two different friends who bought Beretta Storms, and I felt sorry for both of them.  My $200 Hi Point was every bit as accurate and reliable!  I bought it on a whim, used, and have never regretted it.  Anyone who has a more expensive carbine and feels like seeing the truth for themselves, just let me know!

The HiPoint carbine is decent.

It suffers from that single stack mag being difficult to load in the grip. Other than that its not bad.

My Ruger PC9 though is the finest, rootenest, tootenest, most ornery little 9mm carbine this side of the pecos.

The Luger is one of my favorites also. You should get your hands on a Lahti if you like the Luger. It's like a Luger on steroids.
