I started the checkout process to see the shipping.  Only $9.99 shipping fee after I created an account and selected OGC as the FFL.  I can only assume it is calculating shipping for Hawaii.

Just FYI.   :geekdanc:

Well, looks like they sold out.  No surprise, though.  It was a great price, even for used.

At one point, I believe Buds had them on sale for just a little over $700.  Just checked and it's back up to $797 Cash/$821 Other.  I thought I saw them going for close to $700 on other sites when I was trying to price the 6720 upper that I sold, but can't seem to find them for that low anymore.  Maybe the prices have started to go up again.

New gun and ammo prices are dropping, or retailers are adding extra mags and other enticements to move product.

Many bought early anticipating another panic buy after Hillary won --as she was predicted to do.  Now, everyone is overstocked, and it's a buyer's market.

Expect to see deep discounts the rest of the year until stock starts to be depleted.  That's based on some analysts' opinions I've read over the past month.

While I don't doubt that is generally what happened and what to expect.  Though from my research, the prices on Colt complete guns has gone up in the last 1-2 months.  I was finding new 6720s and 6920s for around $700. Now around $800 seems to be the going rate.  Which is actually still a really good price.

While the wholesale prices may be going up and causing retail prices to follow, Colt may not be the only brand retailers stockpiled for the panic.  Colts are expensive, and don't leave much room for profit margin, as opposed to less expensive brands.  While the buyer's market affect may not bring all brands down to bargain price range, there are many others that will.

I saw some AR-15 brands offered at $399 and $499 during Memorial Day and July 4th sales.  Those are in the wholesale price range a shop could have made a killing in during a panic-buying spree.
