Yep.  That's what happened.

Spinning the truth is the way news are reported nowadays.  This happens on both sides of the political aisle.

Sometimes it's really obvious.  And many times it's not.  Out there on the internet if you spend a decent amount of time swimming in it you will tend to notice where the bias lies and who is pushing it.

What's really hard, and sometimes it seems it doesn't exist is a truly un-biased news article.
