This has been over a year now.  There on my block list, but i can still see the attempted calls everyday. Starting to irratate me.
 808-800-2193.  I did answer in the past and they claimed to be nra needing money to fight Hillarys campain back during election time.  I declined to donate as I do bianually with my certification dues. I asked to not be contacted via phone. But they still,do..


Does anybody else get these calls?

I used to get them before sometimes robocalls, sometimes volunteers.  I sent the NRA a request to stop the mailings and phone calls, and haven't received them since.

It's the same with the other gun organizations, or any organization nowadays.  I keep getting constant spam mail and phone calls from the Second Amendment Foundation.  I keep forgetting to submit a request to them too.

I got the opposite problem with HRA, haven't received anything from them for a long time.  I gotta go see if I'm on their mailing list.

I only got 1 call and no other calls about 2 months ago from the ILA.  I was on the crapper so I didn't have time to go into the details with the person.  They are aware that our gun laws suck and aware of HB38.

Both NRA and Second amendment foundation have terrible telemarketers. 

I used to contribute to them but stopped last year for  a few reasons.

But last fall second amendment foundation called and said they needed more money because, and I quote, "Obama was going to issue an executive order to take your guns away"

Now I know that he could not do that and I dont like getting tricked into paying money.  I will support them if they are honest and point out exactly what they are doing with my contributions.  But dont give me that BS. 

NRA no longer receives my support.  I attempted to run a recall campaign in Oregon a few years for a democratic legislator that Bloomberg got in office (he spent the most money in state history on his campaign).  The NRA not only didnt help they actually hurt our efforts by promising help and then constantly delaying and then stopped talking to us.  They are sure good at asking for money but why have a paid "local grassroots organizer" for the state if they do absolutely nothing for state politics. 

So I spent my remaining time in Oregon out of politics and helped build a public shooting range in the public forest with the help of the forestry department.  So much better use of my time and effort.

Easiest and quickest method to get them to stop calling is call them directly.  Tell them you'd appreciate not being called, mailed, emailed, (pick as many as you desire) with donation solicitations.

I have gotten zero calls in the last 4 years from NRA, and only one or two emails per year for solicitations -- normally upgrade opportunities at a huge discount.

Yeah but I just hang up...

I just thanked to volunteer caller for their support, said I support when I can, and asked not to be called about it again. Haven't had a call since.

I've been getting SAF spam mail monthly, two of the same thing, for the past 5 years or so.  Just sent them a stop request so hopefully no more of my membership money will be wasted.
