He bought two at that time because it was cheap back then. I guess one for spare. The scope I'm getting is the Nikon ProStaff Rimfire 3-9x40mm Riflescope, Matte w/ BDC 150. This scope is made especially for 22lr .  :geekdanc:

IMO the Must change parts on a new 10/22:

1. - Auto bolt release.
2. - charging handle.
