Where can I find it?

No left spin
No right spin

No opinions, just facts?

Does it exist?

I'd like to break all ties to MSM, especially the left's constant garbage and spin which is virtually on the ragged edge of treasonous IMO, it makes me disgusted, and don't want to effect my BP anymore than necessary..

Not available on cable here, but I have seen references to a network called "One America News", or OAN.

No idea how "balanced" they are since I have yet to see them in action, so to speak.

B,

My brother and sister-in-law in Utah claim they have a news source out of Utah that is very good about being about as unbiased as possible. It might have some religious overtones? I don't know. But I will be happy to find out for you. They are always talking about how great it is.... LMK and I'll ask for you.

I asked this a while back, but not sure about if on this board or another.

There's a graph that I found somewhere that showed left and right leanings of various sites.  I take that general information as guidance and try to read about the same news item from multiple sources and make up my own opinion.  I mostly read Foxnews, but even they have some spin that makes me

I was surprised when I started listening to PBS for morning drive news that their coverage of issues comes across pretty fair. I find their in depth stories to be interesting where the mass media covers lots of stories without much depth. I will say that often the issues they cover end up being ones the left is more likely to care about but their coverage of those issues does not seem to have the slant that you find on a lot of the media sources.

Actually my number one go to program is a radio show called Armstrong and Getty show. It used to be on the AM station and was rebroadcast from California but AM 990 turned into sports :(. The two hosts (and their other employees) are right leaning and hilarious but when they cover news issues they are really objective about it. They will really consider how much more complicated things can be behind the headlines and they have lots of reporters from different sources  talk about more complex news stories. I end up listening to it on podcast now when I drive and I highly recommend it. They absolutely blast the nanny state and they call their consistent listeners FAGs (Friends of Armstrong and Getty).

I found PBS is left leaning but not wildly so. Most of the time. I hear occasional objective reporting but I find they give left leaning reporting much more air time than right or centrist reporting. So while someone who can think for themselves won't be influenced unless they want to, I feel PBS is still left leaning overall and I don't believe in giving them taxpayer dollars due to this. BTW, I don't believe in giving PBS taxpayer dollars no matter what if they are going to report political stories. They definately spend more time in reporting most issues giving one more in depth insight. I do learn much from listening to them. But what I usually learn is more about the left side of things since they seem to me to spend more time reporting their side. It is very subtle.

I have never heard A&G. If I can find some time I will check out a podcast or two. My favorite podcast is Andrew Klavan from the Daily Wire. He is definately right but he is satirical and makes fun of those that deserve it. He has a great sense of humor. I like Ben Shapiro as well but he has gotten quite dry as of late. So when he gets back to his usual reporting style I will get back to listening to him more.

My brother now says this news source is not exactly unbiased but he still maintains that they do a good job of providing both sides of the issues. I have not seen this site nor can I say it is good or bad. I will let you decide what you think of it. It is http://www.theweek.com

LMK what you think of it.

EEF, I found PBS biased towards the progressive side and almost always reports pro Palestinian (anti Jewish).

I will usually listen to the BBC Global News podcast going and sometimes coming home from work. It's not local or US national news, however I enjoy hearing interesting world stories I wouldn't hear otherwise.

CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corp) is actually pretty good at reporting an incident and not putting their left or right agenda on things.

I usually listen to NPR. They have news here and there, both local, national and world. They seemed to be more neutral than other radio news sources. Can't stand listening to Perry. Yeah, he leans right, but hate his personal commentary he always adds. Just give me the facts.

NPR does cover what I call "stories" about unique stuff. Lately, the are doing more interviews with people like former officials on both sides. Yeah, the questions seem to be left leaning, but I also enjoy hearing from people from both sides. We discussed here before, but it seems like the left responds like drones. Sticking to a script and not really answering the questions. Listen to any interview with Tulsi Gabbard.

I've found that their firearm related stories are so full of inaccuracies that I just had to assume all their stories are equally as inaccurate.  They once said that firearms can be bought at any gunshow in the US, even from dealers, without any background check.  That's such an easy thing to look up it suggests conscious manipulation of facts.  I refuse to fall to the "Gell-Mann Amnesia effect" so I just cant listen to them anymore.

They also love to do stories where they find one example of why something is they think is bad.  For example, they will have a story about an illegal immigrant tried to file worker's comp claims and got arrested.  They list all the terrible things that happened to her and her family for this.  But they never tell stories about the illegal immigrants who steal a social security number for identity theft and then proceed to make a innocent's life miserable.

This is a form of confirmation bias where they are referencing only those perspectives that fuel their pre-existing views.  If they are doing it on purpose it is to manipulate their listeners.  If they are doing it on accident then they dont have any non-biased editorial review.

Speaking of which, they have a ombudsman who is supposed to be a non-biased reviewer who deals with complaints about NPR being biased.  Just for an experiment I contacted her about a trend in left leaning reports (I dont want them leaning any way - to be completely neutral).  Her response was just to defend NPR just like a PR agent would.  I got no sense of her being un-biased at all and not even willing to address my question

So I agree with London808 above.  There is no un-biased news

Interesting, as many US stories get covered by the UK press that the MSM never touches.   A site I visit often calls the UK articles to attention.

Never took the time to figure out the difference between NPR and PBS.  NPR is wildly leftist, assumed PBS was tainted as well.

The problem with commenting about stations like this is that I don't listen to NPR much because of the far left (read progressive) views. But when I did I would sometimes find some reporting not so biased. It doesn't make up for the wildly progressive reporting I have heard. The issue is they could have changed to wildly right wing and I wouldn't know it.

So it makes me wonder if I have just caught PBS on "Good Nights". Anyway, I don't listen to PBS much either since I now have my favorite podcasts I listen to.

Yeah. Gun issues wise, they are mostly anti gun. There are a couple hosts or reporters (not sure what to call them) that are open minded.

I started listening to them because radio stations were playing all the same songs, over and over and over. Now that my car has connectivity to my phone, I listen to my iPod.

I do enjoy their stories, especially when not about politics, religion or gun issues.

Thanks for the recommendations guys.

I have watched Asian news on occasion, since they are not apart of the US, they seem to have less US BS spin on their reports.  But they have their own views on certain things too...
