Howdy Y'all

Well the Wife and I have taken the big step and Moved out of liberal Hawaii to a more gun friendly state.

We have moved to Texas where we are Welcome and are among family and new friends.

Our new home is in Hill Country.

We have enough acres to legally shoot any firearm legal in Texas.

We have deer and other game on our little slice of Heaven.

Best is we don't get the liberal Crap about guns like in Hawaii.

Every one we \'ve met is a gun owner or Very Pro Gun.

Town had a banner hung across Main St advertising "Friends of NRA Banquet"

Costs of living is much lower and the foods taste better than in Hawaii.

Bought the Wife a Ford Expedition King Ranch Special.

The furkids love to go riding in the back bucket seats.

The local Ford dealer Openly supports NRA in the show room.

Life is good now that we can Open Carry and shoot on our own private range.

Expect to shoot handguns out 300 + yards.

Sounds of FULL AUTO fire have been heard in the area.

Life is good in the Promised Land.

I envy and congratulate you and the missus. Me living here is like a round peg in a square hole but my old lady is from Japan and love this POS pimple in the pacific and I fear I'm gonna croak here. Oh well.... God bless you and yours......👍🏼😁

I moved from Portland to Hawaii.  I dont miss Portland or it's protesting snowflakes.  I dont miss the homeless towns that the Mayor supports.  I dont miss the politicians who forget they work for the people instead of the billionaires.  But I do miss my firearms.  I transferred them all to my son since I was not going to register any firearms with the state of Hawaii.  Work and life is a lot better here in my field, I've not received any death threats like I did in oregon so I'm not that concerned about not carrying everyday like I used to.  But I still envy your freedom.  Shoot some steel for me.

Im on the big island though.  The post office does not even come to my house and google maps does not even have my address correct.  I got some land and Im working toward being off the grid.

It was a tough decision between getting a better job and surviving burnout, or give up the firearms.  (I still have a several 80% build kits with me, so Im only an hour away from being armed if I need to be)

Near San Antonio? Shit, that's right in the path.

Must be nice to be able to get out of bed in the morning and shoot a couple wild hogs out of the bedroom window.

You can do that on many parts of the Big Island.
