Well I  bought a 22lr conversion for my POF ar but I did not get arrested nor I see any squad cars.

I was there for the funshoot from 9:30 to 1:00

I did see Carter  and his coworker taking a home safety class right next to us and I though it was funny to see Carter of OGC and Daniel of KSG within the same area lol.

Was at the pistol range from about 8:30am to around 11:30am. Didn't see or hear a thing.

I was at the Rifle and Sil side since 1pm and left at 4pm.  I heard this this morning.

I was at the Bullseye from 10-11 and Silhouette from 11-2, didn't see anything.  btw, does anyone keep their registration papers with them when at the range?  I don't, but I think I will start just in case.

i heard someone got arreseted for reporting his guns stolen when he was at a shopping center after the range. i think his backpack with a couple pistols and a shotgun in the back seat missing. my brother told me he got the info from some hawaii news iphone app.

^^^  someone told me that if asked by the ROs to show the registration and you don't have it, they can make you leave.  I really can't recall who it was, but I think I was told this by a gun store owner.  But I'm glad to know that I don't need to carry copies.  One less thing to lose.

Its none of their business, in *FACT* its prohibited by law.  You are not required to disclose ANY gun registration information to ANYONE other than the police when you register the gun.

This is why we can't FOIA the CCW permits, Open Carry permits etc, because disclosure of that info has already been 'sealed' so to speak by law.

So...  Once again Hawaii's BS gun laws punish a citizen for doing the 'right' thing when his firearms where stolen. Even though he could have been free and clear by not saying a word.
