If this was a show on the mainland, then yes I'd say there would be cheap ammo for sale.  Since this is Hawaii, no.

Better off just waiting for a special at OGC or look into reloading.

I got a good deal on ammo last year at the show. Federal .223 1000 rnds from Young Guns (I think). I don't know if you are going to see good deals on .45 though. Mostly the stores here are selling bulk NATO stuff at a good price. That is what OGC, Young Guns, Security, etc. are presently selling as cheap ammo. If you want to make a bulk purchase I would suggest contacting some of the local stores and see if they can make a deal with you on their next shipment. Or try calling Kona Reloads if you don't mind reloads. As the other poster suggested, maybe invest in some reloading gear. A lot of us roll our own.

The sports authority "black Friday" deals are super low.

Just 8 or 9 more months to go.  :geekdanc:

Hey Benbangbui,

Are you a member of the BI Gun Club? If so you can get ammo at the best price through the club. Otherwise you are stuck buying it and having it shipped which will cost a lot of $.

Young Guns and Security always got ammo cheap at the show.

I got some 9mm at the last show for $8 a box of Winchester 115gr private seller.
$10 for 45 acp for federal but i didnt need it at the time (kicking myself, plus thinking about carrying it back to the car)

I thought sports authority only carries sporting round for 12ga and 20ga.

They have ammo for most common pistol & rifle calibers.  They are usually out of the most popular ones though (i.e., 9mm)
