D - sighting in a new pistol at 25 yards can be a pain without a laser bore sighter.
I suck at pistols too. My friend wasn't real happy with what I did to his target frames. I've never gone back to the pistol range.
Hey - At least I hit the frames.....and it was 25 yards not 20 ft
If you know the gun is sighted in correctly, try shooting the metal target side. That way you get easy confirmation if you're hitting or not, and can adjust your shot accordingly if you're missing
i've had trouble sighting in an adjustable sight pistol before when I replaced the factory sight. Part of my problem was adjusting the sight the wrong way the entire time

Like the sights were SUPER off. I've aimed at the left, bullseye, top, right, bottom frame and still end up with 0 on the paper. I dont think I was shooting anyone else's target (no one else next to me), but who knows? lol
Also IMO 25 yards is pretty damned far for pistols for a beginner, and only adds to the frustration. If you're not comfortable with the pistol yet, if you're not sighting in correctly, you can easily be shooting over or under the target with every shot. It's really too bad that kokohead doesn't have an option for closer range shooting on the target side. They could create a closer berm on one side, maybe for 4-6 slots or so to shoot at 10-15 yards.
