Interesting article popped up on reddit abut how the internet is going to become limited to only Facebook, Google, and Amazon with no guarantee of free speech and if you don't like it they shut down your account. Makes me think back to the old days of punk zines, ordering from catalogues, and *gasp* going to the library to look stuff up. Maybe this brave new world won't be such a bad place after all if we manage to bring back some of the old ways of doing things. 

Does anybody remember how the 2a community used to stay organized before the internet? Maybe that's why FOPA select fire ban was allowed go through because they couldn't get the word out in time that the NRA had turned on it's base. That's way before my day so I have no point of reference. There's got to be a senior citizen or two out there who remembers how this stuff used to work.
