Hey guys just wanna know your thoughts on slings for an  AR.  1 pt. 2pt. 3pt. I'm looking for one that will adjust on the fly, cinch down and maybe go to 1 pt. What's your rig and why do you like it.

My personal favorite is the Magpul MS3.

It converts from one to two point and adjusts super quick.

Most of my house guns are setup with a VCAS from blueforcegear.com.  My work gun has a wolf hook and a bungee cord to control the muzzle for going hands on.

Mahalo guys. I'm leaning towards the VTAC. Does it have to be attached to the butt stock or can I attach it to an end plate ?  Also has anybody have seen or used the specter gear 2pt slings?

Check out lbt's slings similar to vtac but lighter and less material and still strong.

I have slings from Magpul, Blue Force, and stock H&K leather.  The slings are single and two point.  I had a 3 point from Blackhawk, but found it to be too restrictive.

Different slings for different things.  Depends on what you want it to be used for and how you view going about that type of activity.  As with all things firearms related your choice will be a compromise.

I would stick with a name brand product.  OGC got some Magpul slings in stock. .  I love the feature of going single point to double.

The MS3 is nice...  But from our professional opinion STA TACTICAL has a sling called the Huskey Amentum Slider sling in my opinion this is the best sling on the Market by far I also sell the MS3 but if you could see how easy it is to manipulate the Huskey SLing and even the guys that have had the MS3 have switched over to the Huskey sling are now leaning toward the Huskey Amentum Slider Sling...  We also have the Conversation Kit where you can go from a 2 point to a 1 point with the set up we offer we have already sold a 1000 of these slings to operational forces...  Guys I was a Sniper Instructor in the Marines and when it comes to marksmanship I take it to heart ...When shooting in the standing postion I feel I can hit tgts all day with this sling beacuse you make your body one solid shooting platform best sling to shoot with in my opionon in the standing position if you have any more questions please feel free to ask...  And like I said before if I dont know the answer to a question I will not try to bullshit you a answer but being this is a operator owned company meaning we come from backgrounds such as force recon, special forces, and USMC SNIPERS  give me 48 hours and I will get you a answer to a question we are all trained professionals and we are here for you.  Here is a link if you want to check it out have a good one brothers.. :shaka:

VTAC 2 point padded. the nylon webbing construction is design so it doesn't grab your skin padded so that the edges don't saw into your skin.

1 point sling is good for should to shoulder transitions if you need to, however if you got to use both hands for something the weapon will bang around your legs while hanging.

2 point is better for for tighten up the rifle to your body if you got to use both hand s for utility purposes.

3 point is kinda mix of both but I hear iits cumbersome.

Do you carry it in black? Also from their website "Spacer mesh is no longer available as a standard option. If you require it we can put it on as a custom item." So does that mean there's no padding on it or they use a cheaper material?
