If you have tens of thousands of viewers, I can see where you could make some dough.

Granted if your content is “advert friendly”. Lots of gun, video gaming, and sword/historical fighting channels are getting demonetized and getting their videos taken down for no good reason or some sensitive feather reported the video as inappropriate. They hardly make any profit.

Now if it’s “advert friendly” content, maybe you can buy a box of ramen.

A lot of people have made the move to another platform since the demonitization.

Actually YouTube demonizes those videos because they are not all advertiser friendly.

i have 35 videos online and am making about $0.5  a day, so around $160 a year.  The more contnet i have the more that will go up and the more money i will make over time.

If each video makes me 0.01 a day i can make  $1 a day from youtube forever. Dont sound like much but add it adds up and all it take is 1 video to make you a youtube star and make you rich.

I guess so. It’s like collecting empty water bottles and soda cans, you don’t make much but it’s like pocket change. But it’s quite a shame, people could make a living by making quality videos and YouTube pretty much tore it down.

Can't have the little people making money, or selling certain ideas, that go against the agenda.....

Just like the renaissance, nobles didn’t want to give the lower class ideas nor let them spread any ideas

Except with you tube, you pick up the bottle once and they give you money every day.  Im going to keep making videos, I am aiming for 2 a week, 1 Quail related 1 homesteading/gardening/cooking. I look at it like a hobby rather then working.

So the more i learn about youtube revenue the more it seems like something you can make money at.

A video about the color purple might sell to advertisers at a rate of $3 per 1k views because its a shotgun advertisement, not targeted at any particular group of people

Where as a video about cleaning your kitchen would have a narrower demographic (say females aged 25-55) and as such would demand a higher advertising fee, Say $13 per 1k views.

So a targeted video with less views could get more money although its seen by a smaller audience.  I have a couple of videos that are at $4 per 1k views. that have 13k views, But i have a few videos at $13-16 that only have a few hundred views but are earning money.

I have also noticed that the number of views and followers i get is growing at a steady pace. in the last 2 months i have gone from around 30 followers to 200 and am getting around 600-900 views a day
