2nd time exercising my 2A right in Vegas
« on: November 13, 2017, 02:33:19 PM »
So a few updates from the last time:

1) Had to wear a wife beater under my shirts due to holster rub.
2) Wynn had private security walking around (black polo with khaki pants), but the wanding has stopped
3) Had to check my firearm for the 1st time with a casino, due to concert having metal detectors.  Security didn't really care (it's the norm).  Just told me to unchamber in a safe direction and gave me a slip that had make, model, serial #, number of mags, rounds per mag that I filled out.  They took a copy of my ID that way if anyone found the claim check ticket, they made sure it was me.
4) Walked in a few sketchy areas, but didn't feel defenseless.
5) Lost my new Streamlight ProTac 1L I bought 1 week ago
6) Realized carrying appendix is a pain in the ass when having to take a dump.

Were you also walking past mirrors, trying not be obvious, checking to see if you were printing?

Wouldn't matter.  Open carry is legal, and I don't think I heard anything about printing in the NV CCW classes.

Having said that, you're less likely to have issues with Cops and security if you are completely concealing.  Other states make printing a felony, akin to brandishing.

Plenty the 1st time, not so much this time.  But also to flex, so killing 2 birds with 1 stone  ;D

What bothered the wife was that she kept trying to put her damn cold hands under my shirt but realized I was carrying so had to stop mid way, plus I was wearing a wife beater which I tuck into my shorts.

Wife beater?

A tank top t-shirt, not the actor, Cage.   :geekdanc:

I never heard that before - same for the wife.  Only my kid knew what it was.
