ATF Form 2 for new Machine Gun (Tax Free)
« on: November 15, 2017, 09:19:46 PM »
Submitting a Form 2 with Letterhead to the ATF to manufacture a new machine gun after Thanksgiving.

They take up to 2 month to process the Form 2 as opposed to Form 1 and Form 4 which may take up to a year.

Fingers crossed on an early approval. These are  tax free Since the SOT 1 is $500

Wait Wait Wait    ........

Why don't you efile it?  I use efile for form 3s back in Texas and they are approved in 24-48 hours.  I assume , but could be wrong, that form 2s would take no longer.

It requires a Police Dept Demo letter to go with it.
The ATF doesnt really like to approve new MG.

You don't need a demo letter to manufacture a machine gun if you are a manufacturer.  Also, you can submit demo letters on eforms.
