My PCP recently retired and I’ve yet to find a new one.  Will I run into any issues when I register a firearm?  Thanks in advance!

If you still have the same HMO provider, nothing changes.  Administrators in the HMO, not your doctor, will get the HPD request.

I think your doctor (or some doctor) is supposed to review flagged responses to make a determination of fitness to own guns.  However, given the reports on here, I don't think they are bothering with that step.  Getting flagged by the admins appears to be an automatic rejection.

When you get to the counter tell thme my doctor retired I dot. Have one at this time. They will tell you what to write on the form

I didn't have a Doctor for years, always put NONE on the forms.

A doctor is not required to obtain a firearm.
