I bought a Steiner T5XI 3-15x50 from Honolulu Firearms for $750. It was a display but is in perfect condition. Missing lens covers and sun shade and the battery was dead, but who cares about that. Now I just need to spend another $150 on some 34mm rings. I really like the scope. It is very short compared to similar scopes and the first focal plane reticle is actually usable at low (3x) magnification with the help of illumination. The elevation turret is super cool as the numbers change when you pass one full rotation and there is a zero stop.

Now I have an excuse to buy a ruger precision or the like and don't have to dread spending another $2,000 on a scope for it.
