Not sure what to say about this. People who pay more want more so on one level I can understand it, but on the other hand it is sort of questionable ethically.

I say if people are mad enough then people should just refuse to buy units and let the developer go bankrupt as a consequence of their choices.

You pay for champagne, you get better service.  You pay for beer, you get the service you paid for.

Don't like it?  That's just life.  There's probably more security in the nicer entrance, too.  You think the affordable unit residents are going to want a bunch of rules on registering guests and other security requirements?  Doubtful.
