Seems to be an answer to a question no one asked.

Increases snag quotient and loses the slim maneuverability somewhat.

I agree with Rob.  Seems to me like a case of innovation for the sake of innovation.

I guess it does counter one negative of shotguns of limited capacity.  However, my experience with mag fed shotguns have been that they don't really function all that well.  Those were Saigas and other similar AK pattern shotguns though.

I am a pretty traditional 870 guy, but I'm not put off by it.  We deal pretty well with 30 round mags on an M4.  Kind of a niche thing, but would be interested in an autoloader version if they could get it to run reliably and do it for a great price.
