She’s been relatively quiet, at least seems like it in terms of coverage and other actions.

So she was part of some hippie group with a weird leader... Hmmm, interesting story.

Lifelong journalism but the website only has a single story. Not sure what to make of this.

I hadn't heard about that incident. That could raise some red flags. Depends on the details of course but if true, worth further look.

Aloha. I am the author of the articles shared here. Thank you for checking out my work. I found 2ahawaii while reviewing my web traffic statistics. I am joining the forum because several sources have suggested gun ownership in the course of my investigative reporting. Happy to answer any questions about the articles.

Alleged international financial criminal group. Check out my Venn diagram in the first article, about halfway down. And it's longform. Not lifelong.  ;)

It's kind of funny when you think about it, except for the fact that people died.

Members of Science of Identity had been seen recklessly speeding around Lanikai waters in the Zodiac boat for years prior to hitting and killing Sri Shim, a popular and well-loved Native Hawai'ian diver, surfer, and florist. They use the boat to transport Science of Identity leaders Kris/Chris Butler, Wai Lana, and Wai Lana's son. There is an ongoing civil suit against the boat operator, initiated by Shim's daughters. This incident, combined with the release of the Holy Hell documentary about another group/cult in Lanikai, prompted a neighbor who knew I had a journalism background to ask me to look into the matter. I found that Science of Identity is tied to international money laundering and the QNET pyramid scheme. Rep. Gabbard and at least five of her Congressional staffers are absolutely deeply involved in this group. Her father, State Sen. Mike Gabbard, ran a Science of Identity School and served as "Guru" Kris Butler's personal secretary.

Interesting. Do you have evidence that she took a handfun safety course? I certainly don't appreciate the harassment and stalking that some of her staff and Science of Identity associates have engaged in toward constituents, journalists, and ex-Science of Identity members. The experience is not unique to me, but I think I have been especially targeted as the one journalist really digging into and exposing this Science of Identity mess.

Why would Gabbard need to take a handgun safety course?

As she informed me via email on November 7, 2013 she has "received extensive training and ha(s) significant experience in handling a variety of firearms."

In that same email she informed me that Hawaii already had in place an "assault weapons ban" and "a ban on high-capacity clips holding more than 10 rounds".

"As a Soldier and Military Police Officer, I have received extensive training and have significant experience in handling a variety of firearms.   Having firsthand knowledge of the impact of these weapons, and the devastation they can cause, I do not see any role for military-style assault weapons on our streets and in our communities.   This is why I support reinstating the assault weapons ban, and a ban on high-capacity clips holding more than 10 rounds.   These provisions replicate the protections that we have already in place in Hawai`i, and which have played a role in our state having the lowest firearm-related homicide rate in the country."

She is a lying ignoramus who used all her knowledge and expertise to refuse to publicly state her position on HR38 for over 11 months until the day she voted "no".
