It arrived today in a nondescript box, which was a pleasant surprise.  The body is lager than my X300 since it has an additional low lumen output switch and strobe feature.  Now the martians will which house is having a party    The bezel is of course more substantial which makes the pistol feel more front heavy than in previous models, but nothing that one couldn't get use to.  The quality is of course top notch from Surefire with no blemishes etc. on the body or internals as far as I can see.  The switch is positive and I would say a bit easier to manipulate than my X300.  There is an option for a tape switch, but I never found the use for one.  The LED is of course much clearer when discharging and would be a good way to light your wife's carpet on fire - in case you hated your wife's carpet
