Are you getting one?
My list does not have as many items as Inspector's, but the Ruger Precision Rimfire is now on it. I have been hearing a lot of 22 talk lately that has been influencing me . . . you guys know who you are :grrr:

I’m down for a precision 22 or rifle as well. I was super close to getting a Savage bolt action 22 a while ago, but never go around to it.

I just shot my friend's Savage bolt action Mako Shark today. It is a pretty impressive little rifle. I also got to shoot his new TacSol X-Ring .22 rifle with Vantage stock. That is an amazing rifle!!! He didn't have really great ammo today and neither did I. Otherwise we could have stretched it's legs a bit. I am looking forward to checking it out with better ammo on another day.

Yeah. I'd love to get a nice 22 bolt action and a decent scope (thinking Nikon) and hit the silhouette range with a box of 22 ammo.  My buddy has a 10/22 take down with a 3-9 Nikon and I think it would be a fun day of come shooting competition.   ;D  I'd have to improve my skills to shoot with the likes of you folks.

I have several vintage bolt action 22s, and I think they're  more accurate than my 10/22 takedown.  It's kinda funny, because I think I have the exact same setup as your friend, a 3-9 nikon.  The bolt actions are far less picky regarding ammo, and many can feed short, long, and long rifle as well.  The 10/22 does not like low velocity rounds at all, and will jam.

Let's do a silhouette day. I have a couple of modified 10/22's with scopes you can use and some other fun guns to play around with.

Cool. Got some stuff going on right now, as I’m sure you do as well. But will definitely get this going.

friend of mine just got a Ruger PC carbine.  its the one with the rifle stock and Mlock handguard.  you can also get the tactical/chasis model with the AR buttstock
I got to work on it a bit.  changed the charging handle to the left side, and installed the Glock mag adapter.  both were very easy to do.  and seems like any modification will be very easy to do.  the design on this PCC is very modular, and is just begging to be modded.  of course its not as modular as an AR, but for something that is not an AR it is very easy to work on and disassemble and reassemble. Volquartzen makes a drop in trigger 2.5lbs, but a little pricey, but what isn't pricey from Volquartzen
we shot it at kokohead over the weekend and it had no malfunctions, worked great with the Glock mag adapter. can also change the mag release to R or L side, but its already on L side so I left it there.  the peep sights are ok, I'm just not a peeping Tom, so I'm not that fond of those sights.  but my friend will be putting a red dot on it, or maybe put a Holosun 510c on it. there's also aftermarket FO sights can replace the stock ones with
but its a great pistol caliber carbine, that's not an AR.
if I wasn't saving for another gun that i really want, i would pick one of these up.  fun gun to shoot, very little recoil

I’d be interested if it accepted Ruger pistol mags, but that I can accept Glock 9 mm mags makes is that much more attractive and good value for me.

I hear what you’re saying about testing, but I’d out more stock in your review. Will be waiting.  :P  :geekdanc:

The ones I got take both Glock and Ruger Mags. It comes with an adaptor for the magwell and it is very easy to change.
