I had a platform that operated on an open sourced application that had that capability - its been around for years

I would think these things could be thwarted by wide spectrum RF jamming transmissions.
Perhaps something as simple as a spark gap transmitter.

For RC= anywhere from 72mhz to 2.4 ghz. Bands in 400mhz and 900 mhz
For nav GPS= 900-1.2 ghz.

If these freqs are jammed the flight controller will failsafe to preprogrammed instructions
