CNN had a Democrat on just now. He immediately questioned Trumps response, if and how he was informed, etc. Why people don’t see right through that stuff is beyond me. Goes back to the irrational response to Trump hate. Like ones who overreact and call for Hawaii civil defense to be scrapped.

We don't know what they'll do if they were left alone. No one knows as they are so unstable. They have a hard time feeding their people. Their economy sucks.

Who’s talking war with NK? The WH has stated that they don’t want regime change. Just stopping of the continued development of nuclear weapons. Is war a possibility? Sure. But I don’t agree with your opinion that if NK is left alone that “they aren’t going to do anything”.

The alert was a mistake.

The fact that few broadcasters relayed the alert over the Emergency Alert System (EAS) was a total failure.

There's no step in the EAS to verify the messages transmitted to them.  They are supposed to immediately activate the EAS to put the alert out over TV and radio.

Maybe we can now get some pro-gun
people elected. Since most the democrats
will be dead in a few minutes.

In order to void the plethora of upcoming lawsuits (to be paid by the public ), Hawaii Government Dems are giving away free kittens and coloring books.

I'm so proud of my 9 year old son. When he heard about the alert, he quickly grabbed his bug-out bag.  When I told him it was a false alert and to stand down, he put his bag back in the closet, grabbed a piece of paper and sat down and started writing something. When i asked him what he was doing, he said he was writing out his resume so that he would be prepared when the State announces that it has an opening for the position of Director of the Hawaii State Civil Defense Agency.

We not only got the warnings over the cell phones and TV, we also got a warning over our landline. I was pretty sure something was up when the weather station, local TV and radio stations were not in emergency broadcast mode.

After the whole thing was over I dropped my wife off at the hair salon. She said some of the beauticians were saying people were driving crazy fast on the H1. Then I went to Costco and they opened up 20-25 minutes late because of the warning.

The United States is nothing like NK. Our economy is good. Im up over 30% on my very conservative portfolio. I can go to Starbucks, buy a caramel frappuccino and type on 2ahawaii about stuff - unregulated by the govt. I only VPN if I need to. Maybe I'll go enjoy more American capitalism by going to McDonalds or enjoy my 2a rights at Kokohead. I can talk shit about our POTUS if I want to and not be in fear of being killed with a mortar or anti aircraft guns. Celebrities and the MSM do this everyday!
