this legislative session?
note: I am not telling anyone what to do, I am just leaving this as information...

Aloha friends,

Our first year in the State Senate has been eventful and productive.  We successfully passed a bill for a homeless safe zone working group, which has been making headlines.  We secured state funding for the preservation of Paiko Ridge.  And we addressed dozens of constituent issues, from clearing ditches to fixing storm drains.

The 2018 legislative session begins this month, and our top priorities will include creating a Youth Commission to give young people a voice in government, innovative new options to get homeless people off the streets, and making lying to building inspectors a crime.

Please fill out the attached survey below, call us at 586-8420, or email us at senchang@capitol.hawaii.gov to share your concerns for the session and for the community.

Very truly yours,

Stanley Chang

Yeah, I want to see him out of office, and nowhere near my government.
Always be yourself.

Then always be a pirate.

Heavies

Here are a few.
1. Stand your ground law. Any lawful citizen in a place where they are lawfully allowed to be, does NOT have a duty to retreat and may protect themselves or others from deadly threat with deadly force.
2. Any lawful citizens, with training and vetting, that's is allowed by law to own or possess a firearm, may carry concealed or open, on their person, a firearm for self protection and defense of others.
3. Make penalties so unpalatable for thieves, drug abusers, and sexual predators, that is at least makes them take pause, about committing such felonies.

These things have worked in Many states in the US, and will work here to reduce crime and criminal violence.

Blood hasn't run in the streets, and the wild west was not rehashed.
