Going to Taipei

1) What's there to do?  Google has thousands of things, so it's to overwhelming. Not really a sights fan, more active person.

2) Common etiquette?

3) Things to avoid (includes activities, food, and habits)  I will not be bringing any self defense items.

Mrs. change has family there, but we won't be with them as tour guides that long.  More on our own.

Plan for the night market / shopping.  Most places are closed during the morning / day.
