Sometimes I think it's just better to take everything that is valuable from my vehicle when I park it and leave the doors unlocked. Set up a hidden kill switch so that thieves can't start it.

Update:

So the prosecutors office will decline to file charges against the guy who my neighbor saw inside my car and getting out running away.

The reasoning, when he ID'd the guy in the line up, he also ID'd  all 5 other guys in the line up as his 5 friends who were in the get away car.  1 guy in the line up was a HPD plant.

So not only did I lose money, but the criminal got away Scott free.  Thank you justice system.  This would make sense why HPD didn't arrest my criminal at the time.  But the other 2 on unrelated charges.

I don't blame my neighbor at all because mistakes can happen as well as being all jacked up from adrenaline.

Terrible turn of events. Hopefully the punks will get their just desserts in the near future.
