Is all this gun control talk making you think about your next purchase?

With all this gun control talk I'm considering making a few purchases that I really had no intentions of making any time soon. Any of you feel the same? If so what are you getting? I wonder if we are gonna see a run on gun sales soon.

I'm sure speculators are out there "investing" in ARs and receivers hoping there's a ban coming.

A week after the Mandalay Bay incident, I went ahead and expedited my second AR purchase.

Oh and BTW, Pmags are virtually sold out at all the major online retailers.

I went to a shop yesterday and AR's have been flying of the shelf and online also.  So it seems what the fake news doesn't know is that when they push anti-2a stuff, people buy more.  I talked to a guy at another LGS who bought 20 receivers in case Hillary got elected.

No. Have what I want and then some. I did buy some things in 2015 ahead of the election though.

I also recall folks offering $2000-3000 for my 6720 in the 2013-2014 dry times. That was crazy.

I have no plans to buy anything currently due to lack of funds. However, the things I want will probably be some of the last guns to be on a ban list. So I'm in no hurry.

I got plenty enough guns.
So I did the next best thing.
I donated money to the NRA/ila yesterday.
Today I had dinner with #3 son and he sees the crazy times we are in.
So he joined the NRA also. He and his girlfriend want to take the pistol class now.
Of course, Dad can make that happen too.
