Are they speaking about themselves in this resolution?  https://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/session2018/bills/HR7_.pdf

"less responsive to the will of the people and more readily influenced by
lobbyists, wealthy corporations, and special interests"

"law is now enacted by ..  bureaucrats who were never chosen by the people and have no
accountability to the people whatsoever"

"policy decisions made at the state level tend to be more responsive to the needs and desires of the people"  Huh?  ??? ??? ???  :wtf:

"created a crushing ...  debt through improper and imprudent spending"

I don't know....  if it's being said by this states legislature, I am very leery.....

I support.  Congress isn't going to do any of those on their own, whether it's democrats or republicans in power.

I'm getting,   "There are no upcoming hearings for this bill in which public testimony will be accepted." on the legislature website.

Did you read the resolution?  What is stated in the title, isn't consistent with what is in the resolution.  At least by my limited understanding of legalize.

Sounds right.  They are requesting a constitution convention for the purpose of doing those things.

My understanding of CoS is that they support the elimination of all amendments to the Constitution except for the original document created by the Founding Fathers which would eliminate over 200 years of case law.

You would support this bill if you favor a State's rights and a smaller Federal government.

There is some vagueness to how the  Constitution Convention is called, run, what it covers, and how it's ratified because Article 5 of the Constitution is very short and doesn't go into detail, and it's never been done before.

I was able to submit my testimony today, it's working.

I just (11:25 AM) tried to submit testimony. it's NOT working. Just takes me back to original page with "submit" option that doesn't work.

EDIT: It worked. 15th try, but it worked.
