Why there will be little to no coverage:

1) Handgun used, and not scary black rifle
2) Under 18
3) Good guy with gun stopped it
4) Only 2 died, not 5+
But, but, but, but, It WAS a scary Glock, you know, those invisible pistols?

Might have been one with a bazillion bullet clip.

"Numbers may be misleading given the presence of dangerous urban landscapes."

===========
That's a good one I have to remember.
I think we have that down by Xring.

Racist!

???
"Dangerous urban landscapes" is a roundabout politically-correct euphemism for "inner city" which is itself a euphemism for "extremely high percentage 'minority' population", wherein the "epidemic of gun violence" total homicides is perpetrated by 70% black and brown criminals with a past criminal history against black and brown victims, 70% of whom have a known criminal history (i.e. gang members or affiliates killing each other over turf/drug dealing).

Anyone who puts forward that information (most violent crime and homicides are black on black and takes place in the "ghettos")  is frequently labeled "racist", thus the attempt to use euphemisms so as to not get labeled. I was being facetious.

And why would the "numbers be misleading" because of those facts?

But, but, but , aren't  "dangerous urban landscapes"  a result of planting Bougainvillea or  long-thorn kiawe in the city ?

I was not sure if it's meaning was "derogatory " or not and when I looked it up, this is what I got..
Did not look too dangerous.

Funny as hell, as when I grew up in one of these "dangerous urban landscapes" , we simply called it the "the city".  :shake:

I just read an tweet that "to remind people that a kid was killed and an armed guard didn't stop the kid from bringing a gun to school".

Can't teach this level of stupid.

I'm sure the people/students carrying all those "#neveragain" signs last week could tell you. Oh, wait, no... they haven't made that plan public yet. Maybe next week they'll tell us. I'm guessing it has something to do with a magic wand and unicorns.

Yeah, that's where that came from.  The Predator series was on recently, I think AMC.

theres very little coverage on this story
nothing about the shooter, nothing about the Resource Officer that acted quickly to save many lives.
maybe its bc nobody cares about a Glock
or nobody cares when armed security does their job and saves lives.  they should do more coverage of this guy that did the right thing.  those school kids owe him their lives, or at least a huge public thank you that gets national coverage
