Not sure if any of you do this? I am always on the lookout for containers with lids for certain applications. In particular I look for very small containers with lids as they are usually hard to find at a cheap price (I'm cheap) and I hate to waste large size containers for small parts and such. I am not much of a fast food eater nor is KFC something I eat much of. But once in a while I get in the mood for it. And so in the last year I have been saving the little plastic containers that they put the mashed potatoes and cole slaw in. They are dishwasher safe with airtight lids. They are somewhat see thru and small enough to hold small parts and screws without wasting the use of a large container. Yet they are large enough to hold about 200-250 small rifle bullets (.224) or about 100-125 small pistol bullets (9mm). And the best part is they are technically free and they are stackable.

Anyone else use these or have any other tips to save a little cash for reloading supplies?

I save the poke' containers which gives me a good excuse to buy some!  The lids have a positive snap when it is completely secure.

It's not being cheap, just smart and eco-friendly. I frequently "re-purpose" all kinds of containers, but prefer screw on tops to snap lids...my bullets are in peanut butter jars and old medicine bottles for small parts like screws/pins. 

My favorite is the baby food jars.

Thanks KK! I have all that I need right now. The only thing that I worry about with glass jars is that I am very clumsy. Give me a glass jar and I'll find a way to break it. Everything I own has to be adult (child) proof! 

I keep my brass in plastic coffee cans or pretzel containers from Costco
